XML Configuration Dialog

This dialog is common throughout the Bentley Raceway and Cable Management application. It allows you to define a template file which tells Bentley Raceway and Cable Management how to read and implement an imported XLS file. In the dialog, you will match the property type with the column defining the value in the XLS file.

Setting	Description
XML Import file	Enter a name for the new XML file in this field. You can also choose to modify an existing XML file by clicking the Browse icon and selecting the file using from the Open dialog that displays.
Reset column selections	Resets all of the values to Column A.
Property	Displays the name of the property. From this you will determine which column to assign to the property. Start Row End row Name Units Diameter Weight Match Code Fire Load Priority - Determines the priority order of the cable type The Start and End Row fields define the starting and ending rows of the XLS file which contain the property values to be imported into the project.
Value	Use the drop down list to assign a column to a property. Note: The drop down list arrow displays when you click in the fields.
Save	Saves the definitions for the XML file and closes the dialog.
Cancel	Closes the dialog without saving the changes.
